Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is pleased to be supporting a large organisation in West Malling with their recruitment of a Financial Accountant. This role will work closely with the Senior Financial Accountant and support the ongoing financial compliance of the business.
The role involves the following:
Assist with the preparation of monthly management and annual statutory accounts.
Support the maintenance and development of financial control.
Assist with preparation of tax and VAT returns.
Assisting external and internal auditors when necessary.
Support the wider finance team and other departments.
To be suitable for the role your profile will resemble the following:
A fully qualified ACA/ACCA or equivalent (practice trained preferred).
A problem-solver with an enquiring mind.
Technical knowledge and experience of UK GAAP, including FRS 102.
Knowledge of tax and VAT rules and legislation
In return this role will pay a salary of £45,000 and a competitive benefits package.
The position is being offered on a hybrid working basis (1 day per week from home).
