Junior Maintenance Technician
Coleshill
AM, PM and Nights, Rotating
Up to £38,000 P/ a

SF Recruitment are recruiting for a Junior Maintenance Technician to work for our established manufacturing client. Shift as below:
Morning - 6am - 2pm Mon - Thurs
6am - 11.30 Fri
Afternoon - 2pm - 10pm Mon - Thurs
11am - 5pm Fri
Night - 10pm -6am - Mon - Thurs
5pm 10.30am fri

The role:
To support and maintain optimum running of the EV area working in a team environment. Ensuring TPM of all equipment is of the highest standard, and assisting in changeover of press tools and coils in a timely manner

Core Duties:
-Adherence to H&S guidelines
-Safe systems of work, e.g., LOTO
-Undertake PUWER training
-Introduction to Robotics, where applicable
-Undertake abrasive wheels training
-Manual handling
-5s activity
-Utilisation of Business Systems
-Develop knowledge of operational processes
-Improvement activities
-Carrying out basic Planned Maintenance tasks
-Repairing breakdowns

Requirements:
-Understanding safe systems of work
-Demonstrable willingness to learn
-Basic understanding of drawings
-Apprentice standard Level 2 (or equivalent) or manufacturing experience
-Basic understanding of tools, equipment & regulations
-Basic numerical understanding with ability to perform engineering calculations
-Ability to complete FLT / Crane license as required.
-Min two years' experience within key skillset (i.e., resistance welding, mig welding, hydraulics)
