Client Accountant

Up to £35,000 DOE

This is a dynamic and fast paced role where you will manage the accounts for a number of clients. 

If you are looking for a role where you will be constantly busy and moving between clients, dealing with queries, emails, meeting deadlines and remaining client focused at all times, this could be the ideal role for you:

You will be producing accurate company accounts, tax returns, engaging with customers with inbound and outbound calls, answering general queries in line with business and personal tax procedures and statutory requirements.

• Deal with customer queries on various financial matters such as cash-flow, tax advice, CIS, VAT.
• Ensuring clients are well-informed and have clear visibility of their accounts.
• Prepare statutory accounts and tax computations, ensuring compliance with all regulations.
• Engage with HMRC on behalf of our clients.
• Assist in the preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns and support the team as needed.
• Drive process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.

We would love to hear from you if you have the following skills:

Minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role, with a track record of meeting targets and KPIs.

Proficiency in accounting software such as FreeAgent and familiarity with Making Tax Digital (MTD).

AAT Level 3 or 4 qualification is desirable, with study support available.

Strong Excel skills, including Look Ups and Pivot Tables.

This is a permanent, full time role and will offer hybrid.
