Job Title: Maintenance Electrician

Salary: £34,600

Location: Halifax

Working Hours: 40 hours per week

My client is a global facilities management organisation, who are seeking an experienced, time served Electrician who has experience in the commercial sector, carrying out all areas of planned and reactive maintenance. This is a full time and permanent opportunity, working on a mobile basis on sites across Yorkshire.

Main duties will include:

• Take an active role in fixing and maintaining electrical systems, machinery, and other building services.
• You'll work with a skilled engineering team and perform scheduled maintenance tasks on different parts of the site, such as lighting, nurse call systems, electrical installations, security systems, motors, pumps, and other building services.
• You may also be on call for emergencies, and you should respond quickly to fix unexpected issues.
• Assist with minor upgrades and changes, and find and fix problems with equipment safely.
• Follow safety guidelines and company rules, keep records, and perform specific duties assigned by site management.
• Attend additional training as needed to stay competent and comply with your role.

The ideal candidate must have the following:

• 18th Edition
• NVQ/City and Guilds
• Full UK driving licence
• Experience working within a Facilities Management environment
• Strong communication skills
