We are looking to recruit a capable and helpful person to join our staff team at Rumworth School in this newly created post as a Site Supervisor. This is exciting new post has been created to work alongside our existing staff team as our school continues to grow. We are due to begin a further building expansion programme in April 2024 to extend our facilities in order to accommodate for planned growth to become a 400 place secondary special school .

Rumworth School is an “Outstanding” LA maintained special school in Bolton catering for children aged 11-19 who all have an Education Health Care Plan. We currently have 335 students on roll with a wide range of Special Educational Needs & Disabilities including Moderate Learning Difficulty, Severe Learning Difficulty, Autistic Spectrum Conditions and other complex needs, physical disabilities, Hearing Impairment, Visual Impairment and Speech Language & Communication Needs.

We are seeking to appoint a suitably skilled Site Supervisor to join our staff team to help ensure that our school buildings and our school environment are kept in a safe and well-maintained condition. This job role will involve carrying out routine maintenance, basic repairs and compliance checks.

We are looking for an exceptional candidate who may have experience of working in the building trade or experience of working as part of a site management team. We need you to be a team player with:

· A friendly and pleasant manner

· A conscientious attitude

· The ability to cope with the physical demands of the job

· An awareness of health & safety protocols, fire regulations and building safety procedures

· A full clean driving licence
