The Band 5 nurse will undertake a range of clinical duties and you will be developed to undertake the following skills including: Deliver care in Neurosurgery/Neurology setting. Tracheostomy care. Administration of IV medications and blood products. Training will be provided to ensure and maintain competence in the relevant clinical skills. The Band 5 nurse will work alongside and be supported by a team of Band 6 and Band 7 Clinical Nurse Specialists. Develop skills to work within the wider MDT to deliver holistic, patient centered care.
