A well-established enterprise offering a comprehensive range of engineering services, in collaboration with businesses to enhance facilities management, serving clients across various industries including food & beverage, brewing, pharmaceuticals, and chemical. Are seeking an Electrical Design Engineer on a permanent basis.

Info about what the role entails

The successful candidate will be involved in the design of panel and field installations from concept to on-site commissioning relating to automated control systems.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Generating electrical control schematic diagrams
• Generating PLC wiring diagrams and I/O schedules
• Commissioning and scope of installations and preparation of supporting technical documents
  

Requirements of the Test Technician

• Previous experience of electrical design, preferably within an industrial environment
• Knowledge of PLC control wiring systems, instrumentation and motor starter control types
• Experience with commissioning designs is advantageous
• Experience of AutoCAD, Amtech or similar
