With an ageing population, more people are seeking alternatives to Residential Care, and with that comes a rise in Live-in Care.
At Bluebird Care Ayrshire, Edinburgh, & Glasgow South we offer quality home care that can start as early as companionship visits through to full Live-in Care. With Live-in Care packages already in place, and growing enquiries, we’re looking for an experienced Care Supervisor who can join our team and help us to promote, recruit, manage and coordinate.
Qualifications and Requirements
- SVQ: An SVQ4 is desirable but we will accept someone with an SVQ3 who is working towards their SVQ4.
- Care Plan Writing: Proficiency in creating detailed care plans is necessary.
- Driver's License: A valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel are essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Customer Assessment: Meet with Live-in care customers to assess their care needs and preferences, ensuring a person-centred approach to care planning.
- Care Plan Creation: Develop comprehensive and individualised care plans for our Live-in Care customers, detailing their specific requirements and preferences.
- Recruit, Supervise, and Support: Work with our recruitment team to source Live-in Care Assistants that match our customers. Once hired, you will be responsible for mentoring and supporting our care team, providing guidance and ensuring the delivery of high-quality care services in line with Bluebird Care’s policies.
- Flexibility: Maintain flexibility in your working hours, including occasional work outside of standard office hours of 8.30 am-5 pm as required by the role.
- Travel: Possess a valid driver's license and access to a vehicle for work-related travel.
