Job description

Our client is an established, award winning company looking to become market leaders within their industry located just outside Nottingham City Centre. They are looking to recruit an Junior Operations Assistant to join their busy Operations department.  

The successful candidate will ideally have experience in a similar role with relevant qualifications in construction or engineering. The starting salary is c£25k – £30k working 8am – 5pm, working Monday to Friday. In addition, a generous holiday allowance offered throughout the year with access to shared company vehicles and plenty of room for progression.  

Roles & Responsibilities

• The preparation of quotations and securing orders
• Researching new and existing construction materials and installation techniques
• Liaising with customers, suppliers and colleagues
• Day to day operational administration and organisation using Sage 50 and Microsoft Excel
• Organising and managing access equipment, plant, materials, stock and training needs 
• Purchasing and invoicing

Skills & Qualifications

• Experience in a similar role within construction or civil engineering
• Relevant qualification, ideally educated to degree level
• Proficient in Microsoft package mainly Excel
• Long term career aspirations
