From humble beginnings back in 2014, our co-founders at Parkos started our journey to ensure that the beginning and end of your travel experience are as enjoyable as the actual adventure in between!
We make airport parking a smooth, seamless and efficient process for all travelers by bringing together parkings and customers on our marketplace and create matches that make both parties smile.
We started off by winning the major airports within the Netherlands and now operate in over 20 different countries and 3 different regions (and counting)! We’ve grown to over 120 Parkie’s and millions of travelers choose Parkos every year!
Our product and engineering team is crucial for our journey through embracing a highly scalable product-led growth model: building a product that activates, engages, converts and retains users, ideally without a human touch.
The team
Our Post-Booking team is responsible for the full customer journey once they’ve made a booking with us. The topics the team owns include all email flows (transactional, informational and commercial), all self-serve options, customer reviews, referrals and upsell opportunities and the management of customer expectations.
In short, the impact of the work that you deliver is directly linked to our customer retention and how likely people are to recommend Parkos to their friends & family!
You will report into the Head of Product and will be the dedicated Product Manager of this team. You will be working closely with the Head of Marketing & the Head of Customer Service. The Post-Booking Experience team is currently made up of 3 developers and a dedicated Engineering Team Lead and is growing.
What you’ll do
Optimize the full customer journey from making the booking to returning back home, from confirmation emails, to reservation modifications to reviews and on both mobile and desktop. That is quite a scope and a really differentiating factor in our industry. Are you up for it?
Own & develop the post-booking user journey, and you will prioritize user problems to solve based on data and user research. You will solve problems by breaking them down in small chunks and you will be resourceful and will act with a sense of urgency to have impact #growthhacking.
Lead the topic of Reviews company wide and work together with Marketing, Customer Service, Sales and other product teams to make sure we provide a frictionless service, by managing customer expectations through relevant communication and enabling self-serve capabilities at scale.
You will take ownership to deliver what we promise and make customers keep returning to Parkos!
Leverage the post-booking experience to drive average order value & referrals
Implement and own a measurement framework , to monitor your scope, derive actionable insights and measure impact through experimentation
Define and implement the tooling that is required for your scope (incl. buy vs build)
Pair up with Engineering to find the right balance between delivering business value today and having a scalable tech stack to deliver value tomorrow .
What you’ll bring
You did it before : you have demonstrated impact as a Product Manager for a large scale ecommerce company or (two-sided) marketplace
Commercial mindset : a proven ability to identify, prioritize and validate (new) product opportunities that can add commercial value to Parkos’ offering
User centricity : an intrinsic curiosity and drive to explore & solve user problems at scale that are good for our business (product discovery & product delivery)
Prioritization : you take ownership to prioritize ruthlessly, with the ability to take your team and stakeholders along
Experimentation : you have proven experience in setting-up, running and deciding on experiments with confidence
Stakeholder management : you communicate clearly and effectively with a wide variety of stakeholders (Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Legal, Finance, Customer Service)
Strategic thinking: you can translate the business strategy into vision and strategy for your product and how you will contribute to the success of the business
Data Driven: you use qualitative and quantitative insights proficiently to identify & size opportunities and to measure your team’s impact
Communication: you are able to make complex things simple
Teamplayer: you demonstrate technical affinity and work together effectively with your development team. You value accountability, openness, humbleness, curiosity as key traits.
