Job description
Service Engineer / Installation Engineer/ Electromechanical Engineer required to join a leading supplier of Hydraulics.
The Successful Service Engineer / Installation Engineer/ Electromechanical Engineer will provide installation, servicing, and maintenance of Hydraulic equipment at the workshop and customer sites in the Bristol area.
The Service Engineer / Installation Engineer/ Electromechanical Engineer will ideally Service background in electrical and / or mechanical engineering, such as, hydraulics, hoses & fittings, vacuum, vacuum pumps, filtration, pneumatics, valves, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, or similar. Full product training provided.

Service Engineer / Installation Engineer/ Electromechanical Engineer Role
- Provide installation, servicing, and maintenance of Hydraulic equipment at the workshop and customer sites in the Bristol area.
- Assist at the Trade counter when at the workshop in Bristol – deliveries, stock checks, routine workshop maintenance.
- Installing Hydraulic hose & fittings into all forms of the manufacturing industry.
- Perform emergency breakdown fault finding and repairs on various hydraulic equipment.
- Liaise with various engineering departments.
Service Engineer / Installation Engineer/ Electromechanical Engineer Requirements
- Proven diagnostic skills on complicated electrical/mechanical engineering systems.
- Experience as a Field Service Engineer / Service Engineer / Service Technician / Installation Engineer / Compressor Engineer / Pump Engineer / Valve Technician / Electromechanical Engineer / Mechanical Engineer / M&E Engineer or similar.
- Experience operating on the trade counter and in a customer facing role.
- The ability in maintaining good professional working relationships with existing and new customers.
- Service background in electrical and / or mechanical engineering, such as, hydraulics, hoses & fittings, vacuum, vacuum pumps, filtration, pneumatics, valves, rotating equipment, pumps, compressors, or similar. Full product training provided.
- A technical mechanical / electrical / electronic / instrumentation qualification, apprentice trained, HNC, HND or Degree would be advantageous.
- Willing to travel to customer sites across Bristol and the South West area.
