Grafton Banks Finance Ltd is pleased to be working with a successful and well known business in Maidstone recruiting for a Trainee Accountant to join the team on a full-time permanent basis. This is an exciting opportunity to progress through AAT or ACA/ACCA studies within a exciting team.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Daily banking – on a rota basis.
Maintain accurate and real time document archiving.
Accounts Payable – assist with account reconciliation, invoice and payment processing, and related administration.
Purchase Requisition Control reconciliations.
Accounts Receivable – assist with account reconciliation, remittance processing and related administration.
Raise adhoc payments on request.
Bank reconciliations and journal processing.
Company expense analysis.
Assist with compilation of required documents for the year-end audit files.
Responsible for stationery - stock control and ordering and processing of departmental requests.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
BSc Finance & Accountancy (or similar) graduate (2022 or 2023), ideally with some work experience within finance.
Alternatively, studying towards AAT.
Driver with access to a car.
Eager to study towards ACA/ACCA.
This role is paying a competitive salary and is a fully on-site position.
