Job description

Silver Swan is currently seeking a dedicated Private Nanny to join our client’s family, who divides their time between Germany and South Africa. The family comprises four young children, and you will collaborate with two additional nannies to fulfil this position. This Private Nanny role is well-suited for experienced individuals who are energetic, assertive yet friendly, and fun-loving. As a Private Nanny, you will play a crucial role in the children's daily lives, fostering a nurturing and stimulating environment for their growth and development. With ages ranging from 3 to 8 years old, the children require attentive care, engaging activities, and educational support, all of which you will provide with enthusiasm and dedication. In addition to daily care, you will work closely with the parents, offering support as needed and ensuring that the children's routines and schedules are well-maintained. You will also be responsible for coordinating mealtimes, bath, and bedtime routines, ensuring that each child's individual needs are met with care and attention.

Responsibilities:

Providing care for children aged 3, 4, 6, and 8 years old
Organising play dates, engaging activities, and assisting with educational and nursery duties
Ensuring day-to-day care for the children's well-being
Assisting parents as needed
Transporting children to various activities
Managing meal times, baths, and bedtimes
Collaboration with 2 additional nannies

Ideal Candidate:

Holds an EU passport
Fluent in English (mandatory requirement)
Willingness to travel as needed and commit to the role full-time
Possesses a valid driver's licence
Demonstrates dynamism, independence, experience, and a positive assertive attitude

Package:

Salary: €2200 – 2500 net per month
Location: Southern Germany
Provided accommodation: 1-bedroom apartment nearby
Two days off per week
Opportunity for travel to South Africa with the family
Annual holidays plus public holidays off
Immediate start date: ASAP
