Responsibilities
- To provide administrative and clerical support to the General Manager, Leisure Services for the complete leisure services function.
- To control and co-ordinate the administration and reception services within Down Leisure Centre.
Skills and Qualifications
Essential Skills
- Grade C or above in at least 4 GCSEs or equivalent qualification one of which must be GCSE English Language or equivalent and one of which must be a GCSE in a numerate subject or equivalent.
- A minimum of 6 months' previous work experience in:
Responsibility for invoicing
- A minimum of 6 months' previous work experience in:
Customer service (internal and/or external customers)
- A minimum of 6 months' previous work experience in:
Administrative duties which included typing of letters, reports etc., and filing.
- OR In lieu of qualifications at least 12 months' previous work experience in:
Responsibility for invoicing,
Customer service (internal and/or external customers),
Administrative duties which included typing of letters, reports etc and filing
- Applicants must have a minimum of 12 months' previous work experience of managing staff.
- Applicants must have a minimum of 6 months' previous work experience of handling financial transactions and keeping associated records, to include cash handling.
- Applicants must be able to demonstrate competence in the use of email and Microsoft Office applications including word and excel.
- Applicants must have good oral/written communication and interpersonal skills.
- Applicants must have ability to work as part of a team.
- Hold a full current driving licence and access to transport, OR access to transport to meet the requirements of the post.
- Ability to work outside of normal office hours, including evenings, weekends and public/bank holidays.
