Working within the busy Finance Shared Service Centre, reporting directly to the Treasury Accountant.

Our client is looking for an Accounts Assistant on a contract basis, located in Aberdeen.

ROLE

Working within the busy Finance Shared Service Centre, reporting directly to the Treasury Accountant.

To support with the processing, managing and payment of the employee expenses.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Who you’ll be working with:

Day to day you will be working closely with the Treasury Accountant and Accounts Assistants, to ensure all tasks are completed accurately and to required deadlines.

Here is what a typical day would look like:

• Processing employee personal expense claims
• Processing company Barclaycard expenses
• Dealing with expense and Barclaycard queries
• Assist with the payment of employee expenses
• Assist with the preparation of monthly reconciliations.

REQUIREMENTS

Essential:

• Analytical, organised, and good attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task and deliver high quality work to strict deadlines.

Desirable:

• Experience of Microsoft packages, Navision, and Workday.
• Experience of working in a similar role.
• Are looking for your first role in a busy finance team.
• Have a keen eye for detail.
• Use your own initiative and problem solve.
• Have excellent communication skills.
• Have a strong work ethic.
