Job Description
Are you a Scrub Nurse looking for a new challenge in Newark? Service Care Solutions have the role for you!

We're looking for Scrub Nurses to join our dynamic team in providing high quality ophthalmic care. You'll find yourself assisting the clinical team and consultants in all aspects of ophthalmic care, as well as conducting pre-operative assessments and post-operative care.

Location: Newark

Job Type: Ophthalmic Theatre Scrub Nurse

Contract: Permanent (37.5 hours per week)

Pay Rate: £30k - £40.5k (depending on experience)

Requirements

• NMC registered with a minimum of 1 year experience working in a clinical setting post registration.
• Experience working with the CQC, NHS trusts and within the private healthcare sector.
• Enthusiastic and motivated with an ability to make decisions.
• Adaptable and flexible approach to the requirements of the business.
• Ability to work both individually and in a team, with excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare areas priory to all clinical activities and manage theatre equipment daily.
• Adhere to NMC guidelines for Record Keeping and administering medication.
• Follow correct procedure when reporting accidents and incidents.
• Ensure medication and equipment is currently stored and assist with stock control.
• Provide patients with care whilst in hospital, including diagnostic tests.
