Overall Role Purpose
The Health and Safety Consultant is responsible for providing the best levels of customer service to our clients, by being understanding of their challenges, supporting them by coaching and providing practical advice and solutions.

Responsibilities
- Responsible as the nominated Account Manager for a select number of Client Accounts of appropriate risk profile and grade – reviewing Health and Safety performance and developing strategies with the proven ability to improve Health and Safety culture on site
- Engage, develop, and maintain relationships from operatives to senior leadership teams
- Responsible for delivering a wide range of consultancy services with a particular focus on high-risk activities – services to include (but not limited to):
Strategic Health and Safety and account management support for designated clients, ISO management audits, inspections, training and workshops, provision of competent advice, meeting attendance, policy writing, risk assessments/fire risk assessments, creation of critical plan documents (CPP’s, TMP’s, FRA’s, RA’s, procedures etc.), pre-construction and other CDM associated documents – PCI’s, DRR’s, F10’s (role appropriate), reviewing of client sub-contractor RAMS - Understand the requirements of the Principal Designer (PD) and Principal Contractor (PC) roles and complete the work deliverables associated with satisfying the requirements of the CDM 2015 Regulation (role appropriate).

Along with the right mindset, you'll also need
- Minimum 36 months experience (preferably 1+ years in consulting) in a similar role with a NEBOSH / NCRQ Diploma or similar
- Minimum GradIOSH / MIIRSM membership, or have the qualifications and experience to promptly attain this
- Excellent communication skills with a pragmatic approach to risk management
- A genuine desire to learn, continuously improve, broaden your skill-set and be challenged from day one
- A desire to inspire, motivate and support others and share your knowledge
- A keen eye for detail, and ability to author professional technical reports to a high standard
- A good listener, taking on board what our clients need and the ability to translate this into practical advice and solutions
