Position: Multi-Skilled Engineer Salary: circa £40k Location: Bury St Edmunds Our distinguished client, a leader in the culinary industry, is actively seeking an exceptional full-time Multi Skilled Engineer to join their innovative team at the Elmswell. Renowned for their commitment to quality, our client is eager to welcome an experienced engineer to ensure the seamless operation of their Manufacturing site.
Key Responsibilities: • Maintain all site electrical and mechanical equipment to legislative standards, safety, and business requirements.
• Execute reactive maintenance to minimize production downtime, including diagnostics and Root Cause Analysis.
• Proactively carry out machine maintenance as per the PPM schedule.
• Identify areas for improvement and collaborate with the site team for implementation.
• Execute planned maintenance tasks safely, cost-effectively, and within agreed standards.
Who We're Looking For: • Minimum of 5 years' experience in an Engineering or Technician Role in a production, manufacturing, or FMCG environment.
• Strong electromechanical fault-finding ability.
• Enthusiastic about challenges and eager to contribute to building something extraordinary.
• A passion for the pace and excitement of manufacturing.
• Excellent interpersonal skills with a respectful attitude towards all team members.
Nice to Haves: • Previous team leadership experience.
• Qualifications in electrical/mechanical engineering.
• Solid electrical capability, preferably qualified to 18th Edition Electrical Regulations.
• Knowledge of Health & Safety standards.
