Promote business continuity as a Resiliency Associate, safeguarding customers with robust planning and swift incident response.
Job Summary:
As a Business Resiliency Associate within our team, you will be instrumental in minimizing disruption to our customers during incidents and safeguarding them through comprehensive resiliency planning as we return to regular business operations. Your role will be twofold: during an incident, you will collaborate with product and Incident management to evaluate the impact on our Essential Services and Critical Point of Failure (CPOF), and assist in identifying resiliency strategies as per our Business Continuity (BC) plans. The second aspect of your role involves partnering with IC and Firmwide Resiliency to manage top-tier Resiliency plans and playbooks, ensuring we are prepared to respond to threats and incidents that could affect our operations.
Job Responsibilities:
- Creating / updating and managing firm leading resiliency plans and ensure these plans remain within governance
- Completing and ensuring compliance for Testing and exercising for assigned plans
- Ensure all business continuity documentation is reviewed, maintained, updated and tested/exercised on a regular basis
- Work with and build strong relationships with Firmwide resiliency, Compliance, risk, controls, conduct and tech incident management to ensure processes are robust and aligned
- Partner with Plan owners to add value to their areas whilst assisting in updating and validating BR plans
- Lead with influence, work methodically and calmly under pressure, facilitating and collaborating with colleagues to deliver the right outcomes for our business and customers
- Support Line of Business level Crisis Management, assessing incident impact on Essential services (Important Business Services) and CPOF and assisting the business in selecting appropriate BC strategy to invoke during incidents.
Required qualifications, skills and capabilities:
- Relevant experience of functioning in high stress environments and have business analytical skills around reporting & governance
- Experience working with tools such as ServiceNow, Confluence , GENT etc.
- Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with team members.
- Relevant Resiliency Certification / Qualifications beneficial (CBCI, AMBCI, MBCI)
- Strong background in resiliency / incident / crisis management
- External market knowledge and trends
- Strong problem solving, analytical, and time management skills.
