Support / Care Worker (Full and Part-Time Opportunities Available)
Salary: Up to £13.25/£24,000 FTE

We are now looking for multiple Support / Care Workers to join our team in Launceston on a full-time or part-time, permanent basis, working up to four shifts per week (with additional shifts available). 

You could work a mix of early (7:15 am - 7:15 pm) and late (9:00 am - 9:00 pm) shifts on a two week rolling rota. Shifts on week one will be on Monday, Tuesday, Saturday and Sunday, and week two will be Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. We can also accept part-time applicants working any combination of these days as well as one day on the weekend.

About You and The Role

Although no previous experience is required, it would be great if you had some care experience, either caring for a family member or within the care sector. If not, no worries! We just ask that you’re compassionate and friendly, with a great sense of humour and a desire to help others! You’ll also need access to a car due to our rural location. 

As a Support / Care Worker, you will deliver an exceptional quality of care to our residents with learning disabilities. 

You’ll provide companionship to our residents, supporting them to enjoy a range of fun activities and lives as independently as they can, from baking and crafts in the home to shopping, walks and cinema trips in the local community. 

Additionally, you’ll assist with housekeeping and personal care and ensure to keep accurate, up to date notes. 

Please note, successful candidates will be required to undergo a DBS check.
