An exciting opportunity awaits you to join this team as the Head of Finance, overseeing finance, operations, and projects for a forward–thinking company based in Lowestoft.
Role Overview:
As the Head of Finance, you will play a pivotal role in the company's senior management leadership team, reporting directly to the Managing Director. This is a unique opportunity to drive change, manage commercial functions, and contribute to their European growth trajectory. You will be responsible for the full finance and commercial functions, with a focus on business planning, acquisition restructuring, and integration.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Leadership: Take full responsibility for the finance and commercial functions, providing strategic financial guidance to support the company's growth objectives.
Change Management: Drive and lead change initiatives, ensuring effective implementation of new processes and systems.
Business Planning: Contribute to the development and execution of business plans, aligning financial strategies with overall company goals.
Acquisition Restructuring: Oversee the financial aspects of acquisitions, including due diligence, integration, and merging activities.
Commercial Management: Develop a deep understanding of commercial aspects and contribute to commercial decision–making at the senior management level.
Team Leadership: Manage and mentor a finance team, fostering a collaborative and high–performing culture.
Qualifications and Experience:
Qualified accountant (CIMA, ACA, or ACCA).
Proven experience in a senior finance leadership role, preferably in a dynamic and growing business environment.
Expertise in change management, business planning, and acquisition restructuring.
Strong understanding of commercial management and group accounting.
