Job description
We are looking for a Parts Advisor on behalf of our client to join their successful team at their Bedford Site.
Our client have come a long way since their humble beginnings. Their vehicle workshops, including over 7-acres of truck parking and storage on-site, has grown a great extent since they started and still continues to grow. They are pleased to say that they can now cover all varieties of fleet vehicle, from the smallest of company cars, right up to excavators and tractors.
As a Parts Advisor, you will need to be comfortable and confident when professionally resolving any issues that may arise, managing customer and business expectations. Successful applicants will have at least 1 years' experience working as a Parts Advisor or similar customer service role. Experience with Pinewood or Key Loop systems are essential. You will need to hold a Full UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
Main tasks of the job;
•Requesting quotes from supplier for parts
•Receiving quotes from suppliers
•Raising purchase orders on Pinewood
•Sending purchase order numbers to suppliers
•Ordering Stock items e.g. service parts
•Unpacking parts and check quantities match invoice
•Receipting in of parts on Pinewood
•Issuing stock/on the shelf parts to Pinewood job
•Updating and notifying workshop and admin team when parts have arrived
•Maintaining stock levels
•Returning unused/surcharge parts
Salary - £30,000 per annum
Working Hours - Monday - Friday 8am to 6pm (30 minute lunch break)
