Are you an experienced Costs Draftsperson seeking a new opportunity?

My client is a highly regarded, international law firm seeking a Costs Draftsperson to join their team in Birmingham. This is an opportunity to join a top tier law firm that can offer you excellent career progression.

As a Costs Draftsman you will take on a range of responsibilities to include:

• Working across multiple disease claim types
• Reviewing files
• Preparing cost strategy reports and points of dispute
• Updating reports
• Drafting own party and opposing third party cost budgets
• Pursuing costs recoveries including bill drafting
• Advocacy at court hearings

The successful candidate should have the following:

• At least 2-3 years' experience of working in Costs in either claimant or defendant work
• Experience of working on multi-track costs matters
• Experience of costs budgeting and client liaison
• Advocacy experience would be preferable but is not essential
