About the Role:

Paragon Education is currently seeking a dedicated Learning Support Assistant (LSA) to join a secondary school in Wolverley as soon as possible. This position offers an excellent opportunity to provide essential support to students in their learning and personal development within a secondary school setting.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide one-to-one and small group support to students with special educational needs (SEN) or additional learning needs.
Assist classroom teachers in delivering differentiated lessons and implementing individual education plans (IEPs) for students.
Support students in accessing the curriculum, participating in classroom activities, and developing their social and emotional skills.
Foster positive relationships with students, providing encouragement, motivation, and guidance to help them achieve their academic and personal goals.
Assist with the organization and preparation of learning resources and materials, including adapting resources to meet the needs of individual students.
Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience working with children or young people, preferably in an educational setting.
Knowledge or experience of supporting students with special educational needs, including autism, ADHD, dyslexia, and other learning difficulties.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with students, teachers, and other staff members.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine desire to support the academic and personal development of students.
Willingness to undergo relevant training and professional development to enhance skills and knowledge in supporting students with diverse needs.
