Marketing Manager, Dorset or Bristol, £35,000 – £40,000 (depending on experience)
This is an exciting opportunity for a Marketing Manager to join a growing, independent business in the tech industry.
The ideal candidate will be a strategic thinker with a proven track record in technical marketing. This position offers a hybrid working model, requiring presence at the company office either Dorchester or Bristol, for part of the week.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop, implement, and manage marketing strategies specifically tailored to the company’s market within the tech space.
- Conduct thorough market research to understand industry trends, identify new market opportunities, and stay ahead of competitors.
- Collaborate with the product development team to effectively market new and existing products, ensuring clear communication of technical specifications and benefits.
- Craft compelling marketing materials and campaigns that resonate with the company’s target audiences.
- Manage the company’s online presence, ensuring their leadership within technology is prominently and accurately represented.
- Organise and participate in industry-specific events, conferences, and webinars to showcase their products and gather insights from market leaders and potential clients.
- Oversee and allocate the marketing budget efficiently, ensuring maximum ROI.
- Analyse marketing campaign performance, adjusting strategies based on data-driven insights.
- Foster continuous innovation by staying informed about the latest marketing trends and technologies relevant to their industry.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field or similar. A Master’s degree or professional marketing qualifications (e.g., CIM) would be an advantage.
- Proven experience as a Marketing Manager, with a significant track record in the technology.
- Strong understanding of technical product marketing and the ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with an ability to engage effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Proficiency in marketing software and tools, particularly those relevant to B2B marketing in the tech industry.
- Innovative and creative mindset, with a keen eye for identifying new marketing opportunities in the tech space.
- Strong organisational and project management skills, capable of leading multiple initiatives simultaneously and delivering results within tight deadlines.
