Workplace Experience, Director
The Global Workplace Experience (WE) Team oversees the employee experience both within the physical environment of our offices as well as the experience and engagement of our global workers working remotely.
WE delivers and maintains spaces that are vibrant, fresh, branded, and inspiring while also creating and delivering amenities and programs that differentiate EA as an employer of choice and support EA's ability to attract and retain the talent needed to power our company.
About the Role:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Workplace experiences The WE Director, will create a comprehensive and integrated employee experience (EX) strategy that aligns with the team's purpose and goals. The Director of Workplace Experience will collaborate with multiple BU's, such as benefits, people operations, learning and development, employee communications, and more, to ensure that every employee has a positive and engaging experience regardless of onsite, hybrid or remote. The Director of Workplace Experience will also use employee feedback, data, and best practices to identify and address the gaps and opportunities in our EX and improve our EX programs and processes.
Main Responsibilities:
You will Help develop and implement a comprehensive strategy to enhance employee engagement, satisfaction globally for onsite, hybrid and remote workers
Collaborate with various teams and departments to ensure a positive employee experience across the employee lifecycle.
Collect and analyze employee feedback to identify areas of improvement and create action plans for change where needed through surveys, focus groups and interviews with employees.
Manage employee relations and retain top performers by establishing clear communication channels, identifying potential conflicts and resolving issues, and providing regular feedback about performance
Establish our culture by setting standards for employee behaviour and enforcing them through disciplinary action when needed
Design and oversee employee programs that foster a culture of recognition, collaboration, and new ideas.
You will partner with employees and stakeholders to promote the Workplace Experience Teams vision and values.
Manage a talented workplace experience team, promoting a culture of continuous learning, growth, and agreement on Pax8's values.
Develop a service mentality within the team, ensuring a responsive approach to internal customer needs.
Collaborate with Finance and leadership to manage budgets that provide Return on investment through enhanced workplace experiences.
Be an important liaison with multiple departments including Legal, People Operations, Internal Communications, and others, aligning workspace experience initiatives with partner requirements.
Partner with the Security Operations team to ensure a secure workplace while maintaining a welcoming atmosphere for employees and guests.
Oversee and delegate tasks to your team, provide them with the necessary training and resources to maximise productivity.
Skills & Requirements:
Bachelor's degree with 7 years of related experience in workplace and facilities management experience or 10 or more years of workplace and facilities experience within a global organization with locations in the regions of EMEA and APAC
Experience in planning and leading multiple complex initiatives simultaneously
Excellent presentation skills with ability to confidently and effectively communicate to executive leadership
Excellent organization and time management skills supporting teams and projects across multiple time zones, regions and cultures
Experience leading and directing multiple teams in a variety of locations
Ability to make well-informed and strategic decisions that impact the current state and future of the organization, and evaluate the risks and opportunities of each option.
