Job description

Axon Moore are pleased to partner with a leading organisation who are going through a period of change and seeking an Interim Financial Controller for an initial 3 month contract. Reporting to the Finance Director, you will play a key part in leading a finance team and building relationships with a number of key senior stakeholders.

Key responsibilities include:

• Leading a finance team
• Production of management accounts
• Supporting with year end and being a key contact point for the external audit
• Statutory accounts preparation, VAT submission.
• Financial reporting
• Cash flow forecasting
• Supporting the business as they go through a finance transformation.
• Identifying risks and implementing process and system improvements.
• Liaising with senior stakeholders across the business

The successful candidate will be a hands on, qualified accountant (ACCA, ACA, CIMA) with a proven background operating as a Financial Controller and the ability to hit the ground running.
