We welcome the opportunity to discuss reduced hours and job share arrangements.The RoleThe Crew Compliance Manager has the primary responsibility to ensure that all crew members embarking on the Carnival UK fleet possess the necessary documentation to comply with international maritime regulations.

This position plays a crucial role in maintaining the highest standards of compliance, safety and efficiency in our onboard operations. Delivering the highest standards in crew compliance provides a significant benefit to our onboard crew offices and ensures we are having a positive impact on all our fleet colleagues.

You will

Oversee the collection, verification, and maintenance of all required documentation for crew members joining the Carnival UK Fleet. Ensuring that documents, including passports, visas, seafarer's books, and relevant certifications, are up-to-date and comply with international and local regulations.

Collaborate with CUK’s global network of Global Talent Partners and our team at Carnival Support Services India (CSSI) who support the delivery of our crew compliance requirements.

Stay abreast of changes in maritime regulations, immigration policies, and other relevant legislation to ensure continuous compliance. Ensuring the CUK’s documentation requirements, and the associated policies and procedures are well documented and periodically assessed.

Proactively report and address areas of potential non-compliance to ensure that we can sufficiently respond to any embarkation risks.

Develop and implement a systematic audit program to regularly assess the compliance status of crew documentation, both with regard to embarkation readiness and for crew members already onboard.

Work with Flag States (UK and Bermuda) to ensure our approach to compliance, documentation handling and any associated changes are correctly governed and implemented fleetwide.

Manage a small team of Crew Compliance Consultants including the development and growth of direct reports. Providing leadership and support to movtivate the team to deliver the best crew experience possible.

Our role categories range from CUK15 (entry level) to CUK1 (Brand President) so you can clearly see internal development opportunities. This role is a CUK07 and is offered on a full-time permanent basis, with hybrid working in our Southampton office (min. of 3 days per week office-based).

Occasional travel will also be required.

Candidates are expected to work on board an international cruise ship.
