Job description
This is a remote position.
Grounds Care Group is looking for a Invasive weed Surveyor that has experience in Japanese Knotweed. The successful candidate would need to accurately identify the area of JKW and compile a site map accordingly to enable sales team to quote on the area of JKW removal.
Responsibilities
- Carrying out paid residential & commercial surveys, preparing, and submitting Management Plans
- Grounds maintenance site survey and audits
- Gritting site audits and surveys
- Completing Housing Association surveys, preparing quotes and the relevant survey plans
- Where suitably qualified, to carry out commercial surveys, to meet clients on site, to advise on the treatment options, and to prepare sales proposals which include technical recommendations.
- Research and design methods for survey processes
- Use equipment and tools to accurately measure land features
- Uploading survey information to company system
- Calculating the measurements of the land site
- Getting as much as possible information for the survey form site to complete survey e.g. notes, media and drawings.
- Completing audits on grounds maintenance and gritting sites
- Attending PCA webinars and researching invasive weeds to keep up to date on the market
- Completing ad hoc administration projects when required
- Assisting the field teams with excavations, grounds maintenance and gritting when required.
- Assisting and collaborating with office staff regarding surveys that was done to ensure flawless survey lifecycle
Requirements
Qualifications and Requirements
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Attention to detail regarding accurate detail on site for conversion to site maps
- CSJK (Certificated Surveyor in Japanese knotweed) would be beneficial
- Previous experience is JKW surveys or similar
- 1-3 Years relevant work experience
