Job description
It is an exciting time to join Bristol Dental School as we have recently moved to our new site (1 Trinity Quay, Avon Street, Bristol) and operating model. The role involves the management of student patient appointments, including bookings and management of waiting lists.
This role is 28 hours per week over Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday.
The successful candidate will:
• Be responsible for the patient appointment ‘lifecycle’, from registering referrals on the patient administration system, to booking appointments and managing the student patient waiting list following local booking rules and procedures.
• Be the first point of contact for patients, students, nurses, clinical and other administrative staff in relation to the coordination of clinics, management of waiting lists and booking of patients.
• You are a well-organised, enthusiastic individual with excellent communication skills.
• You are adaptable and able to deliver high-quality, efficient and effective clinical administrative support.
• You have strong computer skills; email communications, Microsoft packages (full training will be given on specific systems)
Nice to have:
• Experience of patient administration in the NHS or similar dentistry setting, although training and support will be provided.
Contract type: Open Ended
Salary: £22,214 - £24,248 per annum (based on full-time hours)
