Integrum Power Engineering Part of the OCU Group is an electrical engineering design & build contractor and ICP specialising in high voltage power transmission & distribution projects. Our industry sectors include utilities renewable energy rail and private networks. We offer engineering services across the full project lifecycle from feasibility studies and design through to installation commissioning and asset management.

About the job

We are recruiting for a Team Organiser. Firstly and importantly youll be joining a welcoming and supportive team of experienced engineers who are passionate about supporting each other and our customers. The core business works on an exciting range of HV projects renewable energy ICP and EPC projects transmission & distribution commissioning projects and largescale railway electrification projects. We are rapidly expanding our team so its a great time to join the business.

The Team Organiser will be responsible for supporting the Engineering Design team by providing an efficient and effective general administrative and secretarial support service.

Responsibilities:

  1. Undertake Engineering Design general office administration duties including control of all mail coordinating diaries etc.
  2. Draft reports and presentations in relation to design progress.
  3. Organise meetings and the production collation and dissemination of documentation for and resulting from them. Take minutes when required and follow up actions from the meeting.
  4. Provide a consistent communications presence on behalf of the team delivering excellent customer service levels. Provide communications to the team including sending messages as required.
  5. Maintain an efficient filing system paying particular attention to records of meetings and authorisations.
  6. Utilise financial and procurement systems (where directed) by ordering stationery and other office consumables as required.
  7. Report team problems e.g. IT and office facilities and monitor response.
  8. Undertake administrative tasks as directed including technical literature searches for the team.
  9. Undertake the role in a way that is consistent with and reinforces the company values.
  10. Collaborate with Design Team to support ongoing projects identify and support opportunities for cost savings efficiency and business improvement.
  11. Support the preparation of project documentation including drawings technical specifications and reports. Ensure that documentation meets the organisational and clients procedures standards and requirements.
  12. Support the Engineering Manager to update the project programmes and budgets trackers on a regular basis.
  13. Ensure all work is delivered safely.
  14. Support the assurance of all safety quality technical and commercial requirements are met.

What you will need to be successful:

  1. Ability to multitask.
  2. Experience in appropriate IT packages (MS Excel MS Word MS Visio MS PowerPoint).
  3. Good time management.
  4. Strong organisation skills.
  5. Good communication skills (verbal and written).
  6. Experience of working with a team.
  7. Outstanding selfreliance resourcefulness and working on your own initiative with a flexible approach.
  8. Eagerness to learn and adapt to new technologies and challenges.
  9. Excellent analytical and problemsolving skills.

Desirable:

  1. Recognised qualification in keyboard associated skills and office management techniques.
  2. Knowledge and experience in PowerBi or similar systems
  3. Knowledge and experience of records management.
