As the Resource AllocationAdministrator, you will support a key function within CHS which is the smooth running of Hearings.
Children’s Hearings tribunal panel members play a vital role in Scotland’s society. They listen and make legaldecisions with and for infants, children and young people. They ensure that the young person is at the heart ofevery decision taken – because every decision, no matter how big or small, has an impact.
As Resource Allocation Administrator, with your team, you will play a critical role in enabling these decisions to bemade through ensuring CHS Tribunal Panel Members are allocated appropriately to attend hearings throughoutScotland.

Our 2,500 volunteer Panel Members take part in children’s hearings in their local areas, making decisions with andfor infants, children and young people. Our organisation also supports a network of 22 Area Support Teams madeup of 400 volunteers who support Panel Members in their local communities.

The Plan Vivo Foundation (PVF) is currently looking for a Communications and Administration Officer. The main focusof this role will be to provide support across PVF's offerings, through working with and assisting theCommunications Coordinator and the Operations Manager. The successful applicant will work as part of the PVFEdinburgh operational team (the Secretariat) and will be line managed by the Communications Coordinator. Themost suitable candidate will be someone with good written skills and with some marketing experience. They willalso need to have administrative experience, and not be frustrated by rolling standardised and organisationaltasks.
The role is based in Edinburgh. It is full-time, but part-time will be considered depending on the ability andavailability of the candidate. The successful candidate does not necessarily need to be located withinEdinburgh, however they will be required to work from our Edinburgh office at least once per week, so they needto be located within a reasonable distance. They will also already hold the right to live and work in the UK.This is a 12-month contract, which may be extended, depending on performance and project funding.
The Royal Scottish Forestry Society, formed in 1854, is an educational charity focussing on promoting theunderstanding of trees, woods and forestry.
Every year RSFS puts on what we believe to be the most extensive programme of practical forestry events acrossScotland. The Society has published a semi-academic journal, Scottish Forestry, since 1858 promoting all aspectsof good practice in forestry.
The Society is at an exciting stage of its development growing its practical training offering, offering a widerrange of bursaries and expanding its digital content. To support these activities we are looking to appoint anAdministrative Officer.
Who we are looking for
You will be a personable, dynamic self-starter, used to being the first point of contact within the organisation. AsRSFS is a virtual organisation, you must be highly-organised and able to work independently contributing to theoverall team outcomes.
The principal functions of the role will be to undertake all of the administration relating to the following areasand to support members who volunteer to organise RSFS events:
o Annual Study Tour (AST) planning, arrangements and record-keeping;
o Regional Field Day (RFD) arrangements and record-keeping;
o Training Event (TEV) planning, arrangements and record-keeping;
• Bursary and awards administration;
• Web content relating to these matters;
• Operational policies and procedures for these matters.
Outline terms and conditions
• The role is for 21 hours per week;
• A full-time equivalent salary of £26,500 to £28,500, pro rated for the hours worked, to be agreed depending onexperience;

As our Executive Assistant andGovernance Officer you will work closely with our Board and Senior Leadership team to support key functionswithin CHS which enable us to deliver on those improvements.
You will need to be a confident self-starter able to engage with multiple stakeholders, often with competingpriorities. With exceptionally high-level administrative skills, you will provide the secretariat for our Boardand Senior Leadership meetings disseminating agendas, drafting briefing, taking accurate minutes, as well aslogging actions and driving their delivery. You will use your experience as a PA to support our Chief Executive,Board Chair, and other senior leaders by proactively managing the logistics of their complex diaries andinboxes.
You will be based at our offices in Haymarket, Edinburgh, ensuring our executive and senior leadership teams aresupported to the highest standards while providing a welcoming environment to our external visitors during keyorganisational meetings. Most importantly, through the coordination of the PA and secretariat functions, youwill help our leaders to deliver on our business objectives and aims as an invaluable enabler of corporategovernance and administrative excellence.

Who We Are: The ICAS Foundation is an independent charity that collaborates closely with theInstitute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland (ICAS) to champion equity, diversity, and inclusion among itsmembers. For the past decade, we've been dedicated to empowering university students studying accountancyand finance, having granted over £2 million in funding. Each year, we support approximately 100 students acrossuniversities in Scotland and England, welcoming around 35 new Scholars annually and guiding them through theiruniversity journey for up to 4 years.

The Job: As a Foundation Administrator, you'll dive into a multifaceted role that involves diarymanagement, meeting coordination, minute-taking, data collection, and thanking donors for their donations. Youwill be skilled in the use of Microsoft Word and Excel, and supporting the administration needs of ourvolunteers, students and donors.
You'll help to organise board meetings, manage the mailbox, student bursary and grant enquiries administrationand coordinate updates from mentors, students, and alumni. Additionally, you'll support fundraisinginitiatives, administering donations, writing thank you letters to donors and support at events to elevate ourcharity's visibility and income.
Your work will directly contribute to our mission of supporting young people from diverse backgrounds in the UK,enabling them to pursue higher education and a broader range of career opportunities, including becoming aChartered Accountant.
Who We Need: We're seeking an experienced and organised administrator, with a preference forcandidates who have worked in charitable organisations. However, we're open to various work experiences thatcan be applied to advance the ICAS Foundation's charitable purpose.
