Description
We are seeking a highly motivated Sustainable Transport Assistant to join our team. As a Sustainable Transport Assistant, you will play a vital role in promoting and implementing sustainable transport solutions to reduce carbon emissions and create more environmentally friendly transportation options. Responsibilities
Research and analyze current transportation systems and their environmental impact.
Develop and implement strategies to promote sustainable transport options, such as increased use of public transportation and cycling.
Collaborate with transport providers to integrate sustainable initiatives into their operations.
Support the development and implementation of policies and regulations related to sustainable transport.
Conduct feasibility studies for new sustainable transport projects.
Assist in designing and implementing marketing campaigns to promote sustainable transport options to the public.
Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of sustainable transport initiatives and provide recommendations for improvement.
Coordinate with internal and external stakeholders to ensure smooth implementation of sustainable transport projects.
Provide training and educational resources to raise awareness about sustainable transport options.
Stay updated on industry trends and advancements in sustainable transport technologies.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in transportation planning, sustainability, environmental science, or a related field.
Strong understanding of sustainable transport concepts and principles.
Excellent research and analytical skills.
Experience in project management, including planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Proficient in using transportation modeling software and GIS tools.
Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Knowledge of local and national transportation policies and regulations.
Passion for sustainability and a commitment to promoting environmentally friendly practices.
Ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines.
Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Per Hour: £11.65
