Maintenance Engineer

Location: Leominster & Hereford

Shift Pattern: Panama

Job Titles : maintenance engineer, maintenance technician, multi-skilled maintenance engineer, maintenance electrician, shift engineer, mechanical maintenance technician

Salary: £46,400 - £48,300 per annum (pending 2024 pay review)

A leading manufacturing plant in Herefordshire is looking to hire additional Maintenance Engineers

Key responsibilities include:

• Planned Preventative Maintenance
• Quality Issue Resolution
• Electrical and Mechanical Fault Finding
• Continuous Improvement and Lean Programmes
• Qualities We Seek:

While not essential, the following skills and experience would be advantageous:

• Apprentice trained with City & Guilds and NVQ in engineering or equivalent
• 18th Edition IEE Wiring Regulations
• Fault Diagnosis (electrical and mechanical) - PLC experience is an advantage
• Computer Skills (Basic Level)
• Experience in Hazardous Areas and Flammable Environments
• Basic Fabrication Skills (Welding, Turning, Grinding)
• Understanding of Planned and Predictive Maintenance
• Knowledge of Pneumatic & Hydraulic Systems
• Reporting and RCA (Root Cause Analysis) Skills
