This fantastic opportunity will allow you to become part of a leading manufacturing company and contribute as a valued member of the Credit Control team.

No two days will be the same…. you be responsible for reducing the outstanding debt for the UK and Ireland while supporting with invoice queries.

JOB TITLE: Credit Controller

HOURS: 8:00am - 4:30pm

LOCATION: Smethwick

SALARY: £26,000

START DATE : ASAP

Your new role:

• Pursue outstanding debt


• Receiving incoming telephone calls from customers, and dealing with their queries.


• Deal with account problems.


• To allocate and post all payments.


• To monitor the level of unallocated cash.


• Reconciliation of the general ledger accounts.


• All general administrative duties.


• To provide an outstanding level of customer service and to develop long-term customer relationships.


• Liaise with internal teams to ensure correct accounting paperwork is produced.


• To update the CRM systems.

To excel in this role, you will offer:

• Experience with credit control.


• Excellent communication skills


• Proficiency using MS Office and CRM systems


• Ability to work to tight deadlines and SLA's


• A warm and professional manner


• Good attention to detail
