Job description
We are representing a leading manufacturing company that is based in the heart of Staffordshire, that are looking to expand their team. The company specialise in the design and manufacture of for various industries, including aerospace, nuclear, automotive, and power generation to name a few.
We are looking for an experienced Welder Fabricator to join their team, the salary/rate offered will depend on your experience and will be reviewed throughout your career. The company invests in its workforce, and could offer training and experience to expand knowledge, experience, and career development for the right individuals.
Please note that the salary will be discussed at interview, and will reflect experience.
What experience do I need to apply?
Must be able to read technical drawings.
Capable of welding to 0.5mm
Able to fabricate and work to engineers’ drawings.
Experience of Stainless steel, mild steel, and exotic materials
Experience in fixtures and assembly process
Experience of jigs, cutting and forming machinery
Able to read and interpret weld procedures according to ASME & EN
Preferred but not essential diploma plus a minimum of 3 years similar experience.

Please be aware this position is being offered on a permanent contract, with a 6-month review period. Working hours will be Monday to Friday day shift offering 37.5hrs a week. Overtime is occasionally available. Due to the location of the company, (public transport does not reach the company with ease) a driving licence and transport would be ideal.
