Job description
The key responsibilities for this 900% remote Tax Manager position are:
- Focus on delivering 'right first time' data for tax returns and statutory accounts in various markets, including the UK.
- Provide timely and relevant insight, advice and analysis to drive appropriate decision making to internal stakeholders
- Develop and maintain important tax relationships, specifically with HMRC and overseas tax authorities
- Work with the tax business partnering team to create awareness of tax performance, flagging risks and opportunities and implement tax advice
- Reviewing general compliance which may extend into advice on provisions and accruals
- Clearly communicate tax performance to various levels within the organisation.
- Managing 3-4 direct reports, providing coaching, support, leadership and direction in order to achieve partner, business and customer objectives
- Plan ahead and manage workload (alignment with business goals and objectives) and deliver on time
