About Us

We are an Independent well-established practice with 75 years of history in the locality with a good loyal client base.Withthree branches, our main site is inIlminster. We offer both routine and emergency surgeries, equipped withdigital “normal” and dental x-rays(Canon DR and dental Digiray CR), as well as aPhillips HD11 XE doppler ultrasoundand wet chemistry capabilities.

Located in the pretty market town of Ilminster with good facilities for families and a rural feel, yet close enough to towns for some sense of civilisation. Access to the coast is within easy reach and the moors are only a short drive away for those with climbing, fishing and rambling penchants.

The Role

Due to continued growth, we are looking for afull-time Veterinary Surgeon to joinour team. Whether you’re an experienced vet or just starting your career, we valuegood clinical skillsor thepotential to develop them. Our caseload isvaried, including small animals, some exotics, and wildlife.Case and client follow up is key with support there if needed allowing any new vet to develop their own personal client base. IIP and VNTC with 3 QVNs an SVN all working together to provide a great team environment. Varied caseload offering clinical freedom.

• £35,000 to £75,000 depending on experience and qualifications

• RCVS, VDS, Professional membership

• Separate lunch/break building so you can switch off and get disturbed less often
