Job description

We are seeking an accountant to join our professional services team in Carlisle. The successful candidate will be client facing, and have a well-rounded role across all areas of accountancy.

Client Details

Our client is a highly respected, well established firm within the Cumbrian market. They pride themselves on the quality of work they provide to their clients.

Description

· Prepare accurate, year-end accounts,

· Conduct regular ledger procedures.

· Conduct monthly and quarterly account reconciliations to ensure accurate reporting and ledger maintenance.

· Assist in budget preparation and management activities.

· Develop periodic reports for management.

· Audit files and financial reports within the department.

· Ensure compliance with all internal processes.

Profile

A successful Accountant should have:

· A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

· AAT or ACCA, ACA

· Knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures.

· Strong numeracy and analytical skills.

· Good problem-solving and time management skills.

· Strong attention to detail.
