School HR Manager | Waltham Forest
Salary: £38,000 - £42,000
We are looking for a dynamic HR professional to provide top HR support within an exceptional school trust in Waltham Forest! In this role, you'll be the go-to for all things HR, supporting the Senior Leadership Team through recruitment, retention, and everything in between.
As the School HR Officer, you'll spearhead operational HR activities and policy development, ensuring smooth sailing. You will possess a knack for relationship-building as you support staff, coordinate HR initiatives, and uphold the school's ethos.
Ideal candidates will boast a CIPD Level 7 qualification, a solid grasp of HR policies and employment law, and a talent for staff recruitment within the education sector.
School HR Officer Job Summary: - To lead the operational HR activities and processes alongside development of policies and the strategic management of personnel.
- To support the whole school through the effective management and delivery of the Human Resources function to the Principal and to all staff including senior management.
- Relationship building, supporting employees directly, coordinating, planning and executing HR activities.
- To deliver effective and efficient support, maintaining the agreed standards of service, to the students, staff and parents who make up the school community, creating and promoting an image of the trust which is in accordance with its ethos and values.
- The individual is expected to lead by example, develop teamwork and actively promote the school’s corporate policies.
School HR Officer Requirements: - The successful candidate will ideally be CIPD Level 7 qualified.
- Relevant experience of HR policies, procedures, and a good understanding of basic employment legislation.
- Experience of managing staff recruitment processes.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to relate well to people on all levels.
- Must be willing to undergo an Enhanced DBS.
