Job description
Madisons Recruitment on behalf of our client are recruiting for a Workshop Fitter/Engineer for our client located in Northampton, Wellingborough.
Key Responsibilities:
- Efficiently repair and diagnose equipment faults in alignment with manufacturer recommendations, minimizing downtime.
- Conduct thorough equipment servicing according to manufacturers’ specifications.
- Perform PUWER and LOLER inspections to guarantee equipment safety and compliance.
- Uphold procedural standards to ensure adherence to our ISO 9001 quality management system.
Professional Experience Desired:
- Prior experience in a similar role is preferred.
- Completion of dealership training from the manufacturers listed above.
- Proficiency in engines, hydraulic systems, and electrical systems.
Skills Required:
- Possession of a professionally recognized qualification in plant maintenance and repair (NVQ level 3 or equivalent).
- Familiarity with Microsoft products such as Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- A full UK driving license is advantageous.
