Key Responsibilities of an English Teacher:

• Plan, prepare, and deliver high-quality English lessons that engage and inspire students.
• Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued and supported in their academic journey.
• Assess student progress regularly and provide constructive feedback to facilitate growth and achievement.
• Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement innovative teaching strategies that meet the diverse needs of learners.
• Contribute to the wider life of the school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events.

Requirements of an English Teacher:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent recognized teaching qualification.
• Strong subject knowledge and a genuine passion to be an English Teacher.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students of varying abilities to achieve their full potential.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with students, colleagues, and parents/carers.
• Commitment to continuous professional development and a reflective approach to teaching practice.
