Job description
The following post is available for support staff at this successful High School, to start as soon as possible:
Statement of Purpose
To work under the direction and instruction of teaching staff to provide general technical support to the Food Technology team.
· Provision of support services to the teaching staff in organising requirements for their work.
· Preparation of materials to exact specification from stock as directed and clearing away equipment.
· Assistance to teaching staff with demonstration lessons and practicals, ensuring compliance with health & safety procedures, providing additional supervisory support.
· Oversight of specialised teaching areas, stores and/or preparation rooms, including maintenance and repairs to equipment and working areas.
· Assisting in the maintenance of safety standards in the departments, including the completion of Health and Safety checks and maintaining records.
Cannock Chase High School is an 11–19 mixed comprehensive school with around 1100 students on roll. Students and staff are warm, open and supportive to one another and proud of their school.
