The Finance Manager shall independently lead the local Finance team and processes of Bulten Ltd and perform Financial and controlling tasks in accordance with the Group’s instructions and according to applicable legislation and instructions from time to time.

The Finance Manager reports to the Managing Director of the legal Entity or by the Group assigned manager and is an integral part of the local management team.

The position holder is obliged to follow all regulatory and groups policies, in all areas not only Finance, and can take decisions according to the delegated authorities expressed in the Finance manual of the Group.

Main duties and responsibilities:

Accurate and timely submission of management accounts information to local and group management, incorporating waterfall analysis to budget or forecast information

Ensure that the company is compliant in all matters legal requirements relating to Financial activities.

Ensure that the company adheres to MICR (Minimum internal control requirements)

Sales and gross margin information including forthcoming orders, including analysis to deviations against the last forecast and Budget

Manage the company cashflow ensure both timely payments and receipts and group requirement are met.

Ensure all the control ledgers of the company are accurate.

Ensure that all provisions and accruals are correctly accounted for and the general ledger reflects the operations of the company

Provide information to the management team to evaluate the actual performance of the business against the expected results, assist in devising plans and corrective actions to attain the companies objectives and KPI’s.

Develop a robust finance team to ensure roles are understood, processes are well documented and the functional KPI’s both locally and within group are met, creating a good team culture.

Monitor and provide information on companies financial KPI (key performance indicators)

Report and maintain the company fixed asset register including the management reporting on any CAPEX item

Produce monthly stock report and assist in analysis of slow moving stock

Analyse actual expenditure against budget or forecasted level and advise management of cost saving opportunities

Liaise with the auditors on all financial matters to ensure the accuracy of the statutory accounts and review all company taxation issues and responsible for the annual financial statements

Liaise and inform Company Directors of any financial issues

Ensure all finance procedures are documented, adhered and are continually improved ensuring all processes remain robust

Responsible for the communication and adherence of all direct reports in all matters 

Candidate Profile

Chartered Accountant / CIMA

Post qualified experience of +5 years, demonstrating previous experience in fast paced financial reporting.

Strong IT skills with ability to use core systems and Microsoft office suite

Previous management experience of a multi functional finance team

Previous experience of key team member in the operational management

Demonstrate can assess and ensure necessary financial controls are in place

Degree Qualification

Experience of international financial reporting
