Job description
Our client, a leading provider of industrial, medical, and special gases in the UK and Ireland, is seeking a dynamic and results–driven Business Development Manager. Specializing in industrial gases and cylinders, our client supplies a diverse range of gases such as Argon, Carbon dioxide, Nitrogen, and Oxygen, including inert, fuel, and welding gases. Who the Role Reports to and Key Responsibilities:
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage a target–driven role where both inbound leads and proactive prospecting are essential, involving occasional travel to customers.
- Achieve business targets on sales and margin by focusing on Bulk and Engineering sales development.
- Develop, build, and maintain contacts at all levels within the organization and foster a wide internal network across departments.
- Cultivate and nurture relationships with Original Equipment Manufacturers (OEMs) within the designated region.
- Utilize Salesforces for effective customer relationship management.
- Demonstrate strong communication, negotiation, and sales skills to drive business success.
- Possess a comprehensive understanding of the products, competitors, and customer landscape to ensure effective sales strategies.
- Leverage SAP experience to streamline processes and enhance operational efficiency.
Background, Experience, Characteristics and Qualifications of Ideal Candidate:
- Experience in selling Industrial Gasses including Oxygen, Carbon Dioxide and Nitrogen highly beneficial
- Previous exposure within several industries including Healthcare, Aerospace, Rail, Food and Beverage, and Maritime
- Knowledge of Salesforce
- Demonstrated history of succeeding in B2B sale
- Experience meeting and exceeding targets
Salary/Package + OTE including details of company car/car allowance and ANY other benefits:
Basic Salary up to 50,000 + Bonus + Company Car + Allowances
