Warehouse Operative Job Types: Contract to Permanent Role Salary: From £24,000.00 per yearOr £12 - £15 per hour PAYE for the first 3 monthsReporting to the Warehouse Manager, the purpose of the Warehouse Operative will be to complete tasks which assist the day to day running of the Warehouse, the upkeep of the warehouse, the organisation of warehouse locations and to ensure correct storage of all products. Manual handling is one of the main requirements of this role.Key Skills:- Adheres to the warehouse health and safety procedures - Reporting stock issues to supervisory or stock control team - Assist in the stock takes when requested - Assist with ensuring that housekeeping standards are always maintained - Being able to prioritise workloads - Flexible approach to working - A “can do” attitudeKnowledge and Experience:- Good team-working skills - Good communication skills - A counterbalance licence and reach licence is required for the position.- aisle-master licence would be advantageous to the position.
