Job description

A global organisation specialising in Cyber Security Solutions for Government and UK Defence organisations are looking for a Production Manager to support them on a contract basis until the end of 2023.

Info about what the role entails

The Production Manager is required to drive productivity of the Manufacturing Team and actively review performance supporting continuous improvement. Ensuring the team are effectively trained, managed, developed and deployed in fulfilment of both customer and company objectives.

Some of the key responsibilities include:

• Provide coaching and supporting for all manufacturing all staff in line with company and individual objectives.
• Provide concise reporting to relevant stakeholders of manufacturing progress against agreed plans, clearly identifying all risks and mitigations.
• Deliver the order backlog to company KPI targets (including on time in full and late backlog)

Requirements of the Production Scheduler / Planner

• Manufacturing leadership position in electronics or related industry
• Lean practitioner with a proven track record in continuous improvement
• Ability to manage high product mix with low-high volumes
• Experience with resource capacity planning
