Radiology Assistant
Guildford Hospital | Radiology | Permanent Contract | Full Time
Up to £22,000.00 per annum depending on experience
37.5 hours per week
Our Radiology Department currently has an opportunity for a Radiology Assistant . Start your journey with us whilst we'll support you to be your best. A chance to be apart of a dynamic radiology department, assisting with a range of radiological examinations.
As our Radiology Assistant you will:
Assist patients throughout their time within the department and preparing patients prior to their imaging.
Assisting the Radiographers in maintaining an efficient daily work list, workflow of patients.
Assist Radiologists in carrying out radiological examinations.
Deal with service user queries and patient appointments using Radiology IT systems.
Assist the Admin team with sending reports to referrers.
Assist the Radiographers with managing the IEP service
Be responsible for stock maintenance and ordering.
Assist in regular audits.
To succeed as a Radiology Assistant, you will need:
NVQ Level 2 in Health related subject

Our site is shared with an NHS Trust hospital, giving us access to their facilities. The working atmosphere is highly professional and stimulating, yet friendly and collaborative like that of a large family unit.
The hospital is easily accessible from the A3 or M25 and we are located about 1.5 miles from Guildford town centre.
