A placement year within our Technical Author team will assist with the production and maintenance of technical documentation for all of our products as well as the publication of documentation to print and online platforms. You will work with technical documentation includes owner’s handbooks, repair and maintenance instructions, assembly instructions, technical bulletins and service bulletins. This is technical role and so being able to understand key aspects of engineering alongside having strong verbal and written skills is key.
A 12-month Industrial Placement position at Triumph is unique from other placement opportunities in the fact that you work hands-on within the business and will play a key role in our future and existing projects. You will be placed within the department and develop your existing skills by working in parallel and collaboratively with our experienced teams.
Triumph is able to offer graduate employment opportunities for Industrial Placement students who perform strongly during their placement year, and Triumph has the opportunity to also offer final year sponsorship deals to students whom it aims to bring back into full time employment after graduation.
An Industrial Placement in Design is ideally suited to Automotive and Mechanical Engineering degrees.
Please note that this role is only open to university students who need to undertake a year out in industry as part of their degree course for the academic year 2024-2025. We will be looking to onboard successful applicants in July 2024 for a 12 month period.
