Job description
Retirement Villages is on the lookout for a Senior HR Business Partner to join our People Team. This role is focused on providing front line business partnering support to the operations team and Central finance function with travel to villages required.
What will the Senior HR BP be doing?
Business Partnering
- Assist HRBPs and key stakeholders in providing effective, high quality HR generalist service, providing proactive solutions to issues and coaching the village managers on new Target Operation Model (TOM).
- Partner proactively with HRBPs and senior managers to focus on all aspects of process and people change relating to TOM across operations.
- Partner proactively with the Central finance function who has recently gone through a system implementation and restructure
Communication
- Ensure companywide communication on TOM is carried out in an effective and timely manner.
- Work alongside Business Partners and Internal Comms to align and connect communications.
- Business partner with Central departmental heads.
- Lead on the rollout of new initiatives and People driven processes.
Employee Relations
- Lead on employee relations raised across the business and as part of the consultation process arising from TOM;
- To manage the approach and support the rollout with your HRBPs on general high level advice and guidance on employee relations issues and impacts;
- Lead and support on any TUPE processes;
- Assist with the development of new / revised policies and procedures in line with changing legislation;
What are we looking for in our successful HR BP?
- Knowledge of UK Employment Law.
- Previous business partnering/generalist role
- Degree or CIPD Qualified.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail, able to meet deadlines and commitments;
- Able to analyse and interpret complex, disparate and multi stranded information, drawing conclusions and themes;
- Excellent relationship building skills, with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Excellent communicator with accurate written, verbal and presentation skills.
